Walt Disney World's 55th anniversary is still a few weeks away, but guests can already get their hands on one of the first pieces of commemorative merchandise: a special edition MagicBand+ marking the milestone. The band went on sale through My Disney Experience on September 9, 2026, priced at $44.99.
Not everyone can snag one right away, though — eligibility is tied to your Disney account status. Guests who have an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation can purchase the band through My Disney Experience, as can new or renewing Walt Disney World Annual Passholders who don't have a resort stay booked.
The 55th Anniversary MagicBand+ joins a handful of other milestone keepsakes already making their way out. Gift card designs with 55th anniversary artwork are currently available inside the parks, and a special edition Cinderella doll along with limited-release pins are also planned for release ahead of October 1, 2026 — the resort's official anniversary date.
It's worth noting that, at least for now, the celebration appears to be relatively low-key. No special events or unique in-park offerings tied specifically to the 55th have been announced, so the merchandise may be the primary way guests can mark the occasion this year.
