Vivoli Il Gelato has opened a new location at Flamingo Crossings Town Center in Winter Garden, adding another Central Florida outpost beyond its Disney Springs and Disney’s Riviera Resort shops.
The shop is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is being used as a test kitchen for possible new flavors and creations, according to Inside the Magic. That means items may debut at Flamingo Crossings before reaching Vivoli’s other Orlando locations.
For now, the new shop is the only Orlando Vivoli location serving tiramisu gelato. It also has a limited-time Tiramisu Affogato made with tiramisu gelato, espresso and ladyfingers, plus Crème de Café, a frozen cappuccino-style drink.
Another first for Vivoli in Orlando is a freezer stocked with grab-and-go pints. Availability varies, but reported options include coconut and peanut butter flavors also sold at Disney Springs.
The Flamingo Crossings gelato counter is fully peanut-free: peanut-containing gelato is not made or scooped there. The peanut butter pints are prepared at Disney Springs and brought to the new shop prepackaged. Other allergens remain present, including dairy, tree nuts and gluten, so guests managing allergies should check directly with staff about their needs.
In addition to gelato cups and cones, the menu includes sundaes, shakes, floats, affogatos, Italian-inspired pastries and an edible waffle-cone coffee cup. The shop is located at Flamingo Crossings Town Center, near Walt Disney World’s western side and across from housing used by Disney College Program participants.
