Halloween season at Walt Disney World is getting a little more gothic with the arrival of a new Vampire Mickey Mouse popcorn bucket. Priced at $28 and including popcorn at the time of purchase, the collectible bucket is now available at select popcorn carts across all four theme parks, with a limit of two per person per transaction while supplies last.
Mickey is dressed to impress in full vampire regalia: a black tuxedo with a lime green waistcoat, a purple bowtie, and matching purple pant buttons. His dramatic cape is black on the outside with green lining, and he rounds out the look with black shoes featuring purple spats and a black top hat with a purple band. His face has been given a pale white tone, complete with white fangs.
The real showstopper is the light-up feature: Mickey holds a jack-o'-lantern in one hand that illuminates at the flip of a switch located on the bottom of his feet, where the battery pack is also accessed. Three additional jack-o'-lanterns sit at his feet for extra Halloween flair. The back of Mickey's head opens up for popcorn storage, and the detachable orange carry strap is printed with candy and Vampire Mickey imagery.
At Magic Kingdom, guests can find the bucket at Maurice's Popping Machine outside Bonjour! Village Gifts, as well as near Jungle Cruise in Adventureland, near Liberty Tree Tavern in Liberty Square, and near Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland. If you're planning a Walt Disney World visit this fall, it's worth tracking down before supplies run out.
