Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay water park is scheduled to close for the season beginning October 26, 2026, with reopening planned for April 1, 2027.
The closure will affect Orlando visits through the late fall, winter and early spring. The reported reopening date was previously March 24, 2027, before moving back about a week, and Universal could still change the April date.
Volcano Bay is Universal Orlando’s water park, alongside Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe. The seasonal break gives the resort time for refurbishment work, according to Disney Fanatic, though the report did not detail what work is planned.
