Halloween Horror Nights may be the main event at Universal Studios Florida, but the resort's on-site hotels are putting on a spooky show of their own this season. With the exception of Helios Grand, each Universal Orlando hotel has added limited-time Halloween offerings — and the best part is that you don't need a park ticket or even a hotel reservation to enjoy most of them.
At Royal Pacific Resort, Jake's American Bar has been transformed into Laguna Lounge, a Universal Monsters-themed tiki bar that's hard to miss. The menu includes a handful of creative sips: the Black Sand Margarita stood out as a highlight, described as fresh and orange-forward, while the Spiced Island Spirit Mule brought warm fall flavors of cinnamon and orange. The Blood Moon Spritzer, a prosecco-based drink with pomegranate seeds, was considered more of a pass for those wanting something bolder. On the food side, the Haunted Hideaway Buffalo Dip — featuring smoked chicken, a creamy cheese base, and a pleasant kick of spice — was a clear crowd-pleaser. Royal Pacific guests can also order Halloween Horror Nights-themed items through in-room dining.
Over at Aventura Hotel, barVentura leaned into an alien theme for the season. The Alien Abduction cocktail offered a light, berry-forward profile reminiscent of a sparkling white sangria, while the Caffeinated Coven delivered a pumpkin cold brew experience with a cinnamon-spiced foam topping that reviewers described as delicious and well-balanced.
Beyond the food and drinks, guests staying at Universal Orlando hotels during Halloween Horror Nights enjoy a dedicated resort entrance to the event — a notable perk for those looking to make the most of their visit.
