Universal Orlando Resort is giving guests a new way to experience Epic Universe once the regular crowds head home. Universal Nights at Epic Universe is an after-hours ticketed event that admits a limited number of guests starting at 7 p.m., letting them catch the park's Celestial Goodnight show before an exclusive window runs from 9 p.m. to midnight — a span during which standard daytime visitors are no longer inside the park.
The event launched with just two scheduled dates — October 3 and October 17 — but demand moved quickly. October 17 has already sold out, and Universal responded by adding three more nights: October 24, November 6, and November 20. That brings the total to five Universal Nights events this fall. Tickets for the remaining four dates are currently on sale at $179.99 per person, plus tax.
That price point invites a natural comparison with regular Epic Universe admission, which uses date-based pricing and can range from roughly $139.99 to $199 for a one-day ticket. A standard day typically offers around 10 hours inside the park, while Universal Nights guests get a maximum of about five hours — only three of which fall within the exclusive after-hours period. What the event trades in total time, it offsets with limited capacity, unlimited berry-flavored Celestial Popcorn, crispy Kimchi Bao, Coca-Cola Freestyle refills, and character meet-and-greets throughout the evening.
Epic Universe, which opened in May 2025, spans five worlds: Celestial Park, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.
