Walt Disney World’s logo will appear on University of Central Florida Knights football helmets this season, beginning with Saturday’s Big 12 Conference game against the TCU Horned Frogs at Acrisure Bounce House.
The official Walt Disney World logo will be printed on the rear bumper of both UCF’s gold and white-and-black helmets. The Knights’ logo will remain on the sides, while the helmets also feature “XII,” a reference to the Big 12 Conference.
According to UCF Athletics, the Disney logo will be worn on every helmet for the rest of the season. The arrangement is intended to create opportunities for Walt Disney World and UCF Athletics to connect with Knights fans and celebrate Central Florida.
“Walt Disney World is part of the fabric of Central Florida, and we are incredibly proud to feature its logo on our football helmets,” UCF Vice President and Director of Athletics Terry Mohajir said in a statement.
