After a months-long closure, the Turf Club Lounge at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort has reopened its doors with a noticeably updated look and a brand-new menu — and guests are not shy about sharing what they think. The neighboring Turf Club Bar & Grill remains under refurbishment through the end of September, but the lounge is back in business and drawing a steady stream of visitors.

The refreshed space features new tables and chairs, revitalized carpets, and a redesigned bar area. On the menu side, new offerings include a Pretzel Charcuterie for $18, an Herbed Grilled Chicken Sandwich for $19, and a Mint Julep priced at $19. The Disney Food Blog team visited and came away impressed, calling the dishes easy to share and the lounge a welcome retreat from the bustle of the parks.

Reader reaction has been largely positive as well. One commenter praised the burger as the best she'd ever had on Disney property, and several others noted the lounge looks far more polished than before. A handful of fans also pointed out a practical perk: outlets at the bar make it a solid spot to recharge a phone or get a little remote work done, along with access to an outdoor terrace.

Not everyone is on board with the new direction, though. Some guests miss the old pool table — which has been relocated to the hallway near the gift shop rather than removed entirely — and others have described the updated aesthetic as too corporate and stripped of warmth. The Disney Food Blog notes the lounge leans away from heavy Disney theming, which may not suit guests expecting that signature immersive feel.
