The Tampa Bay Lightning will mark the start of the 2026-27 regular season with Lightning Launch Week, a series of fan events scheduled from September 27 through October 3 across Tampa Bay. The week leads into the team’s October 3 home opener against the Washington Capitals at Benchmark International Arena.

The lineup begins September 27 with the Bolts Vintage x Mezzo Market on Ford Thunder Alley from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market is set to include more than 40 vendors offering vintage apparel, collectibles, local creative goods and streetwear, plus a DJ on the Porch.

Other events include a 90-minute Lightning Pilates session at Armature Works’ West Lawn on September 29, with a DJ, giveaways and treats from Fit Bowl. Lightning-themed trivia is planned for September 30 at Pinellas Ale Works in St. Petersburg, Tamiami Tap in Sarasota, Top Shelf Sports Lounge in Wesley Chapel and The Blind Goat in Tampa.

Fans can also follow the team’s social accounts during the week for daily Find the Bolt scavenger-hunt clues, with prizes for the first person to locate each hidden bolt. A season-opening watch party is planned for October 1 as the Lightning face the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden, though its location had not yet been announced. On October 2, participating coffee shops around Tampa Bay will give their first 50 paying customers limited-edition Blue Cups and offer surprise giveaways.

On home-opener day, the Lightning Blue Carpet Walk returns to Ford Thunder Alley at 3:45 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. game against Washington. Fans will also be able to take photos with the Hart Memorial Trophy, Jack Adams Award and Vezina Trophy. Source: That’s So Tampa.
