Tampa Bay’s Halloween calendar includes seasonal cocktail menus, costume contests, candy pairings and bar crawls at venues from Tampa Heights to St. Petersburg, Dunedin and Brooksville.
Strandhill Public in Tampa Heights is scheduled to host The Haunting, a Halloween cocktail pop-up from Miracle Cocktails Inc., from Oct. 1 through Nov. 1. The concept will bring themed drinks, spirit-free options, a seasonal shot and collectible glassware to the pub, which plans to operate the pop-up daily from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Elsewhere, Fenway Hotel in Dunedin has planned its Fenway Fright Night for Oct. 31, with light bites, cocktails, haunted hallway tours, a DJ and a costume competition. In St. Petersburg, The Urban Stillhouse’s 21-and-up Spirits After Dark event is set for Oct. 30 and includes food stations, specialty cocktails, readings, cigar rolling and a costume contest.
Other options include Downtown Crawlers bar crawls in several Tampa Bay neighborhoods, Green Bench Brewing Co.’s anniversary party and October movie nights, Haggard Coffee & Oddities’ family-friendly Haggaween gathering, and the free Spooky Island Market at St. Petersburg Distillery. Wine-and-candy tastings are also on the schedule at Chateau Cellars and Ybor City Society Wine Bar.
