Greater Tampa Bay’s first October weekend brings a mix of Halloween-themed fun, live entertainment and visual arts from Friday, Oct. 2, through Sunday, Oct. 4.
In Tampa, Meet Me Under the Disco Ball is a women-only dance party at Good Luck Chuck’s on Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. The Afternoon Divas event includes a DJ, photo booth, prizes and music spanning the decades. Tickets start at about $34 and include a welcome drink during the first hour; 10% of ticket proceeds will support local women-focused charities.
For families, the Warlock Family Spookfest in Wesley Chapel runs Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. Children can use tokens and a Warlock passport while visiting enchanted villages, meeting characters, making crafts and collecting stamps. Costumes are encouraged. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 10 and older, and free for children under 10.
SCARADISE: Florida’s Horror Convention takes over the Florida State Fairgrounds across all three days, with celebrity appearances, autograph signings, photo opportunities, panels, vendors, artists and collectibles. Hours are 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Tickets start at $35, while children under 10 are admitted free.
Largo Vibe Fest opens the Central Park Performing Arts Center’s 30th season with live music, food trucks, interactive art and performances by Squonk’s Joy Machine. The free event is at Largo Central Park from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Saturday’s programming also includes a Young Entrepreneur Market and a Halloween Spooktacular presented by the Largo Central Railroad.
In Palmetto, the Florida Watercolor Society’s 2026 Annual Convention offers live painting demonstrations, a trade show and a Paint-Around at the newly remodeled Bradenton Conference Center. Online registration has closed, but walk-ins are welcome; admission is $65 for members and $75 for nonmembers.
