If you're staying near EPCOT and want a quiet, unhurried spot for a drink and a bite, Stir — the lobby bar and lounge at the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve — deserves a closer look. Tucked between columns in the hotel lobby, the space leans tropical and modern, with both bar seating and lounge tables, a TV for game-watching, and notably dim lighting despite its large windows.
The food menu runs from simple bar snacks (nuts, olives) through appetizers like fried calamari and Mediterranean dips, flatbreads, and full entrées. Chicken Wings ($21) with Calabrian citrus barbecue sauce came out crispy and tender, with enough on the plate to share. The Grilled Souvlaki with chicken ($39) stood out even more — two grilled chicken thighs served with pesto, tabbouleh, tzatziki, pita, and harissa hummus. The chicken was exceptionally tender and well-seasoned, making it a dish worth returning for.
On the drinks side, specialty cocktails are each credited to the bartender who created them, which gives the menu a personal touch. The Tipsy Swan — vodka, lime, lemon, orangecello, orange juice, simple syrup, and Combier for $21 — landed as a miss in this visit, coming across as bitter and muted despite its long ingredient list. Bourbon flights, wine, and beer round out the options.
Stir makes the most sense if you're already in the neighborhood. Its late hours (often until midnight) and genuinely attentive bar staff are real draws, and the food quality outpaces what you'd expect from a lobby lounge. That said, guests hunting for Disney theming or straightforward classic cocktails will probably want to look elsewhere. It's the kind of place you stumble upon and end up glad you did — not one to cross the resort for.
