If you're planning to build a lightsaber at Savi's Workshop inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, the decision-making process just got a little easier. The physical parts menus that help guests compare components across the experience's four themes have returned after going missing earlier in September, according to WDW News Today.
The menus display the specific hilt pieces associated with each of the four available themes — Peace and Justice, Power and Control, Elemental Nature, and Protection and Defense — giving builders a straightforward way to compare their options before committing. Disney reportedly pulled the menus after they developed cracks. During the weeks they were absent, guests could still examine actual component samples displayed in drawers inside the workshop, but the physical menus offered a more convenient side-by-side comparison.
The returning menus include some minor design updates, though cast members have noted they may not be on display for the full operating day. Still, their return is meaningful at this price point. Savi's Workshop currently runs $274.99 per lightsaber — a serious investment that makes having clear, accessible information about your choices before the ceremony begins all the more worthwhile.
The restoration of the menus comes as Galaxy's Edge has been seeing broader updates. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run received a significant new adventure in May 2026 featuring Din Djarin and Grogu, with expanded crew controls and new destinations including Bespin, Coruscant, and the wreckage of the second Death Star. Disney has also confirmed that interactive Batuu Adventure Buddies — featuring Grogu, an Ewok, and a Huttlet — are planned for Walt Disney World, though no opening date has been announced for Hollywood Studios.
