Royal Caribbean Group is exploring a loyalty-program connection with Sandals and Beaches Resorts as part of its planned partnership with the Caribbean all-inclusive brands. The company has announced plans to acquire a 50% stake in Sandals and Beaches for about $3 billion, with the deal expected to close in early 2027.

Royal Caribbean Group Chairman and CEO Jason Liberty said the goal is for Sandals guests to be recognized for their status when sailing with Royal Caribbean and for cruise guests to receive similar recognition at Sandals. He said the effort will require technology development.

The concept would extend beyond selling cruise guests resort day passes, according to Liberty. Company leaders described it as a way to offer incentives and recognition across cruise and all-inclusive vacations.

Royal Caribbean Group already offers reciprocal status matching among Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea Cruises. Its Points Choice program also allows guests to direct points earned on one of those brands toward a different program within the group. Source: Royal Caribbean Blog.
