Royal Caribbean plans to bring Halloween festivities to sailings throughout October 2026, expanding celebrations that were historically limited to cruises sailing on Oct. 31.
The cruise line is encouraging guests to pack costumes and accessories for its monthlong Sea Spooktacular programming. Planned activities include Halloween-themed parties, costume parades and contests, scavenger hunts, crafts and games for different age groups.
Among the activities listed for October are a Halloween Family Scavenger Hunt, Haunted Holes Mini Golf, Pumpkin Climb Challenge, Trick or Treat Kids Costume Parade, Family Sea Spooktacular Costume Parade and Costume Contest, Halloween Monster Bash, and a Halloween movie night for teens ages 13 to 17.
Royal Caribbean also lists game-style events including Spooky Toss Throwdown, Jack-O'-Kick Shootout, Knock-or-Treat Knockout Competition and Majority Rules: Halloween Edition.
Guests can check the Royal Caribbean mobile app for the schedule on their specific sailing. The cruise line says activities can be viewed under the app's Entertainment section after selecting a sailing or connecting to the ship's Wi-Fi.
The programming is intended for October cruises across Royal Caribbean's fleet, though the daily lineup available on an individual ship may vary by sailing.
