Guests heading into Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney's Hollywood Studios will notice something a little different before they reach Studio C. The live Cast Member who previously gave a brief spiel in the hallway outside the pre-show has been replaced by a pre-recorded voice-over.
The recorded announcement covers the basics: welcoming guests to G-Force Records, reminding them to stand behind the yellow line, step carefully when the studio doors open, fill in all available space, avoid sitting or standing on handrails, and skip flash photography or video lighting inside the studio.
This isn't the first time Walt Disney World has made this kind of swap. Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom shifted those crowd-management duties to the animatronic trio of Buff, Max, and Melvin when the show was reimagined. And when Zootopia: Better Zoogether! replaced It's Tough to Be a Bug at Disney's Animal Kingdom, that attraction also moved to a pre-recorded introduction in place of a live host.
The pattern suggests a broader operational shift across the resort, trading real-time human interaction for consistent, repeatable audio at key queue and pre-show moments.
