Halloween at Disney World has always been closely tied to Magic Kingdom, but for 2026 the season is quietly creeping over to Disney's Hollywood Studios — courtesy of a very unusual droid. Meet R2-WRWLF, a new Droid Factory figure that mashes up the familiar R2-style droid silhouette with a full-on werewolf makeover.
The figure ditches R2-D2's signature white-and-blue color scheme in favor of an all-brown design, complete with werewolf ears perched on top of the head casing and red plaid details across the body meant to suggest a shirt. Even the wheels are brown, carrying the theme all the way through. The packaging plays it up further, depicting R2-WRWLF beneath a pair of full moons.
Guests can pick one up at Mickey's of Hollywood inside Disney's Hollywood Studios for $17.99. It's a limited seasonal item, making it something of a novelty for Star Wars collectors who also happen to love Halloween — and frankly, that overlap probably runs deeper than Disney expected.
Hollywood Studios doesn't host Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which remains Magic Kingdom's signature seasonal event with trick-or-treating, character appearances, attraction overlays, and specialty treats on select nights. But R2-WRWLF gives the park its own small seasonal moment without requiring any changes to attractions or evening programming.
