Star Wars fans browsing Tatooine Traders at Disney's Hollywood Studios have a new reason to linger a little longer. A freshly released R2-D2 D-Squad figure is now available both in the park and through the Disney Store online, priced at $19.99.
The fully sculpted figure is packed with detail, featuring heat exhaust, system ventilation, power recharging coupling, a primary photo receptor, radar eye, and articulated arms. A collector card is included with each purchase.
R2-D2 is one of six droids in a new monthly Droid Factory Build-a-Droid series. Each figure is sold separately and comes with a component piece that, when all six are collected, assembles RX-01 — a droid from the Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The R2-D2 figure appears to include the base piece for that build.
