Walt Disney World has filed two construction permits connected to Pirates of the Caribbean at Magic Kingdom, according to permits reported by WDWNT.
One permit lists 4873B Caribbean Way, covering the attraction’s facade and queue. The second lists 4875 Caribbean Way, the ride’s show building. Both were filed by Disney’s Sourcing & Procurement team and name Buena Vista Construction Company, Disney’s in-house construction company, for labor, materials and/or electrical work.
Disney has not announced a closure or refurbishment schedule for Pirates of the Caribbean. The filings could be for work completed outside operating hours, though a future closure remains possible. Visitors planning Walt Disney World tickets should note that no change to the attraction’s availability has been confirmed.
