Peter Pan’s Flight is operating again at Magic Kingdom after an unplanned closure that began during the day Monday, September 21. The Fantasyland attraction remained unavailable through Tuesday morning and early afternoon, with no reopening time announced during the downtime.
The ride reopened at about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, September 22. According to Queue Times, waits quickly reached roughly 35 to 40 minutes as guests returned to the popular attraction.
Peter Pan’s Flight has been a Magic Kingdom fixture since the park opened in 1971, taking riders in suspended pirate ships over London and through Never Land. Its limited capacity and longtime popularity often make it one of Fantasyland’s higher-wait attractions.
While the attraction was closed, a temporary hopscotch activity appeared outside the ride for families in the area. Disney had not announced a refurbishment or replacement connected with the closure.
