Orlando's fall season makes a strong case for visiting between September and November, when smaller crowds, milder temperatures and a packed events calendar converge. Whether you're drawn by live music, cultural celebrations, Halloween haunts or serious eating, the city has scheduled dozens of reasons to make the trip.
On the cultural front, Hispanic Heritage Month runs September 15 through October 15, 2026, spotlighting the region where nearly 35% of Central Florida residents identify as Hispanic or Latino. October 17 brings two simultaneous events: Come Out With Pride Orlando at Lake Eola Park — now in its 22nd year — and the Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival & Asian Cultural Expo at Bill Frederick Park, which is free to attend.
Music lovers get two back-to-back weekends at Tinker Field in November: Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Orlando runs November 6–8 with more than 120 dance music acts, followed immediately by the returning Vans Warped Tour on November 14–15, featuring over 100 punk, alternative and emo bands. Now in its 21st year, the program offers three-course prix-fixe dinners at more than 180 restaurants — including 16 MICHELIN Guide honorees — priced at $40 or $60 per person, with a portion of each meal benefiting local charities. Thanksgiving weekend caps the season with FusionFest at the Dr. Phillips Center, a free two-day celebration of more than 110 global cultures featuring food, music, dance and the arts.
