Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party still has room on the calendar, but the window is narrowing. As of August 12, 12 of the 38 scheduled parties have sold out, leaving 26 dates open between late August and October. The most recent sellouts are October 6 and October 29 — and Halloween night itself, October 31, vanished within hours of general tickets going on sale despite carrying the season's highest price of $229.
For families watching their budget, August is where the value is. Four parties remain in August, with August 23 being the cheapest at $139 per ticket. August 25 runs $144, while August 28 and 30 are both $149. Annual Passholders can shave $10 off each of those nights. The catch: school is back in session for many families by then, which likely explains why these dates haven't followed the earlier August parties into sellout territory — and also why flexible travelers could use that to their advantage.
September currently offers the most choices, with 11 dates still open ranging from $149 (September 1) up to $184 (September 29). Annual Passholder discounts also apply to September dates. October is a different story — 11 dates remain, but prices climb steeply, from $189 on October 1 to $224 on the last few available late-October nights. Passholder discounts are only available through October 2, making the final stretch of the season significantly more expensive. A family of four attending on October 23, 25, or 27 would spend $896 before tax, compared to $556 for the same family on August 23 — a $340 swing.
The party runs from 7 p.m. to midnight, though Magic Kingdom ticket holders can enter as early as 4 p.m. Disney lists the full-season ticket range as $119 to $229.
