If you're a pressed penny collector, Magic Kingdom just gave you several new reasons to dig into your pocket. Upgraded penny machines have been spotted at seven locations across the park, from Main Street, U.S.A. all the way through Adventureland and Frontierland.
On Main Street, guests will find two machines: one inside the Emporium featuring Gaston, Rapunzel, Belle, and other Disney characters, and another at Curtain Call Collectibles showcasing Tinker Bell, Captain Hook, Minnie Mouse, and the Magic Kingdom logo. Over in Fantasyland, Fantasy Faire has a machine dedicated to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs designs.
Adventureland gets its own pirate-themed set near Pirates of the Caribbean, with Mickey, Pluto, and friends dressed in swashbuckling gear. Frontierland is home to three more machines: one outside Tiana's Bayou Adventure (featuring Woody, Jessie, and Mickey Mouse), one at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe with country-styled designs of Mickey, Goofy, and Stitch, and one at the Country Bear Musical Jamboree engraved with characters from the show.
Pricing is straightforward: a single pressed penny runs $1, or guests can grab all eight designs from a machine for $5 — a tidy deal for anyone looking to fill a collector's book in one stop.
