The Walt Disney World Railroad is closed for a multi-week refurbishment at Magic Kingdom, according to WDWNT.
Disney’s website lists a November 2026 reopening for the attraction, though operating hours are currently shown beginning October 30. At the Main Street, U.S.A. station, ropes block most entrances and rolling planters partially obscure the track, WDWNT reported.
One staircase remains open for guests visiting the collectible medallion machine on the station’s second floor. Signs at the bottom and top of the stairs state that the railroad is not operating.
When the train returns, it is expected to continue in shuttle mode between Main Street, U.S.A. and Storybook Circus. The Frontierland station remains closed during construction of Piston Peak National Park and Disney Villains land.
