A new backstage building taking shape at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is reportedly being developed as a parade support facility, though Disney has not confirmed its purpose.
The construction site is behind Pirates of the Caribbean and near an existing parade warehouse. Steel framing and a concrete elevator shaft have become visible, while official records identify the project only as the “MK Park 3 Support Building.”
According to BlogMickey, whose reporting was cited by Disney Fanatic, multiple anonymous sources described the project as a parade facility with rehearsal space, offices and Cast Member break areas. The report also said parade costuming could move into a neighboring existing rehearsal building after the new facility opens.
The reported expansion follows the 2025 debut of Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, which returned nighttime parade entertainment to Main Street, U.S.A. The new building has not been tied to any announced future parade, and Disney has not announced a new daytime or nighttime production connected to the project.
