Magic Kingdom’s Diamond Horseshoe is set to reopen as a limited-time, cowboy-themed pop-up restaurant for the fall season. The Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up is scheduled to begin welcoming guests on Oct. 4, according to Disney Food Blog, with reservations opening Sept. 29.
The restaurant has been closed while it is transformed following Jessie’s Roundup for Cool Kids’ Summer, which operated after the venue closed in May. The fall pop-up will serve what Disney describes as “frontier fare.”
Its small-plate menu includes charcuterie with cured beef, candied bacon and smoked pork; glazed sticky ribs with cowboy beans and jalapeño crisps; queso fundido with barbecue burnt ends; sweet golden corn fritters; a chipotle chicken tostada; and a mini hot dog platter.
Drink options include orange cream soda, caramel root beer with sweet cream, strawberry-and-hot-honey lemonade, and a cucumber-mint limeade. The cocktail list includes a whiskey lemonade, prickly pear margarita, huckleberry vodka drink, rum punch, coffee-forward old fashioned, and a bourbon cocktail with rosemary, cranberry and cinnamon.
