The permit was filed by Walt Disney World’s Facility Asset Management team and names MLC Theming, Inc. as the contractor. The address corresponds with the Adventureland Popcorn Cart area, between Jungle Cruise and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
MLC Theming’s work includes themed architectural finishes, rockwork and aged-looking details, leading Disney Tourist Blog to speculate that the filing could cover broader placemaking work in the nearby bazaar rather than a simple cart update. That possibility remains unconfirmed by Disney.
