Legoland Florida's Brick or Treat: What to Know Before You Go

Legoland Florida Resort in Winter Haven brings back its beloved Brick or Treat Halloween event this fall, with the festivities running on select days through October 31. The good news for families: everything is included with standard park admission, which ranges from $39 to $89.

The centerpiece of this year's event is Brick or Treat Street, a brand-new indoor, air-conditioned walkthrough featuring six life-sized Lego monster homes. It's the park's main draw this season — and with wait times reportedly reaching around 45 minutes on busy days, arriving early or checking the Legoland mobile app for live wait times is a smart move. The app can help you balance time between Brick or Treat Street and the park's other attractions, like the Galactic Coaster, which opened earlier this year and gets a Halloween twist this season — riders can add jack-o'-lanterns and bones to their custom spacecraft from 356 possible combinations.

Younger guests will also find plenty to keep them busy. The Department of Monster Vehicles, normally a kid-sized driving experience, transforms for the season with glowing oil spills and monster-sized obstacles. Spooky Lego character meet-and-greets are scheduled with the likes of Wacky Witch, Spider Lady, Scarecrow, and Plantmonster, and candy stations with provided bags are scattered throughout the park. Lego-building stations offer a creative pit stop — and a chance for parents to catch their breath — while kids design their own creations.

The park's layout is compact enough that heavy pre-planning isn't necessary. On a rainy September Saturday, most ride wait times hovered between 5 and 15 minutes, making it a manageable outing even for younger children, who tend to be the park's core audience in the 6-to-12 age range.
