Fall is officially concert season in Northeast Florida, and the weekend of September 18–20 is stacked with live music, outdoor markets, and community events stretching from Jacksonville's Southbank to historic St. Augustine. The headlining draw is the return of the Sing Out Loud Festival in St. Augustine, where more than 100 artists take over 17 venues across the city. Free Local Artist Showcases, presented by PNC Bank, are part of the lineup.
Friday night alone offers a strong menu of choices. John Fogerty and Steve Winwood bring their Legacy Tour to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre at 7:00 p.m., while Josh Turner's This Country Music Thing Tour stops at the Florida Theatre at 7:30 p.m. For something on the edgier side, The Mars Volta perform at FIVE Riverside at 8:00 p.m. Saturday continues the momentum with Ella Langley's Dandelion Tour at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena (7:00 p.m.), Brad Paisley joined by Charlie Worsham and The Band Loula at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre (7:30 p.m.), and jazz-fusion duo Domi & JD Beck at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall (8:00 p.m.).
Beyond concerts, the weekend includes the Jax Book Fest 2026 at the Downtown Public Library on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Riverside Arts Market under the Fuller Warren Bridge from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a McCoys Creek Cleanup on the Northbank Riverwalk Saturday morning, and Saturday Sounds at the Fountain at Friendship Fountain starting at 6:00 p.m. The Quiltfest continues through Saturday at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.
Thursday also deserves a mention: Sip & Stroll returns from its summer hiatus, relocating to RiversEdge along the Southbank Riverwalk (5:00–8:00 p.m.) while construction continues near Friendship Fountain. Modest Mouse with special guest Robber Robber play the St. Augustine Amphitheatre that same evening at 7:00 p.m.
