The Jacksonville Jaguars are spreading game-week excitement across Northeast Florida with a Spirit Week running Monday, Sept. 8 through Saturday, Sept. 13 — the day before the team's home opener against the Cleveland Browns at EverBank Stadium.
The fun starts Monday at Bono's Pit Bar-B-Q in the St. Johns Town Center, where fans wearing Jaguars gear score 25% off their order between 3 and 6 p.m. Tuesday brings a Spin to Win event at the GATE station on Hodges Boulevard, giving early risers from 8 to 9 a.m. a shot at free gas and game tickets. Wednesday, Firehouse Subs on University Boulevard South offers a kids-eat-free deal with the purchase of an adult medium sub combo, for dine-in orders only.
Thursday moves the action south to St. Augustine, where Culver's on Stratton Boulevard is running a buy-one-get-one deal on Concrete Mixers from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday evening is the marquee community event: the Jaguars Fan Rally presented by Bud Light at The Block Jax on Quarter Mile Drive, running from 6 to 8:30 p.m. with a live DJ, giveaways, and appearances by team mascot Jaxson de Ville, the ROAR cheerleaders, and the D-line pep band.
The week wraps up Saturday at Jacksonville Beach with Fin Fest at 75 1st Street North, open from noon to 10 p.m. Attendees can explore Jaguars ticket packages and get a look at plans for the proposed Stadium of the Future — making it a good stop for fans thinking about planning ahead for future season experiences.
All of it builds toward the 1 p.m. kickoff Sunday, Sept. 13, when the Jaguars host the Browns to open their home schedule. This story was originally reported by Action News Jax.
