The Jacksonville Jaguars kick off their preseason home schedule Friday, August 21, when they host the Carolina Panthers at EverBank Stadium at 7:30 p.m. The game will also air on CBS 47, giving fans the option to watch from home or pack the stands for the first home preseason action of 2026.
Music lovers have plenty of options before the weekend arrives. Tuesday evening, Squeeze headlines a show at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre with special guests Adam Ant and Haircut 100 starting at 6:00 p.m. Thursday brings blues legend Buddy Guy to that same stage for his 90th birthday celebration, joined by special guest Taj Farrant at 7:30 p.m. The weekend closes out Sunday with Slightly Stoopid's Road Trippin Summer Tour 2026 — featuring The Elovaters and Denm — also at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre at 6:15 p.m., followed by Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas with John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band at the Florida Theatre at 7:00 p.m.
Art and community events fill the calendar as well. Thursday's North Beaches Art Walk runs 5:00–9:00 p.m. at Beaches Town Center, and the Ritz Theatre hosts an opening reception for "Let's Get Artsy" at the same time. Saturday brings the Riverside Arts Market under the Fuller Warren Bridge (10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.) and the Veteran Legacy Inaugural Community Festival at Seawalk Pavilion from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Families and RV enthusiasts can check out RV Show USA at the Prime Osborn Convention Center Thursday through Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day. Meanwhile, comedy fans can catch Carlos Mencia at The Comedy Zone with multiple shows Friday and Saturday nights.
