Jacksonville and nearby St. Augustine have a busy lineup of things to do Sept. 25-27, with options ranging from live music and sports to fall festivities, fitness events and family outings.
Friday brings the Wounded Warrior Project Jacksonville Beach Soldier Ride, with riders expected at American Legion Post 129 before and after their adaptive-bike ride. Also on the schedule are Don Lemon and DL Hughley at the Florida Theatre, plus the opening day of Ancient City Con at World Golf Village Renaissance Resort in St. Augustine.
Saturday’s choices include the white-attire Dîner en Blanc gathering at a secret Jacksonville location; Tails & Trails at the Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens; the VyStar Emerald Trail 5K, 10K and one-mile event; and the free Mandarin Fall Festival at Trinity Mandarin. Jazz on the Ave is set for 3 to 9 p.m. with performances, art, food vendors and craft booths.
Music fans can find Mozart & Tchaikovsky with the Jacksonville Symphony, Rise Against at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Morgan Wade at FIVE and SICKICK at Decca Live. Other Saturday events include a Sporting JAX match against Loudoun FC, Buchner’s Oktoberfest, Sunrise Yoga at Riverview Park and the Island Vibes on the River cruise aboard the Royal Princess.
