New Construction Vehicle Spotted at Indiana Jones Exit

Something is brewing outside the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular at Disney's Hollywood Studios. A new construction vehicle — draped in a green tarp and tucked into the show's exit corridor — showed up during a recent site visit, suggesting the next phase of work in this area is on its way.

The vehicle's compact, boxy profile points to it possibly being a mini skid steer, though the tarp makes a definitive identification tricky. What's clear is that it joins a string of recent changes to the 202-square-foot space just outside the stunt show's exit: props have been removed, rolling planters installed, pavement torn up, and a large tree taken out since work began back in March.

All of this activity falls under what's being called Project Fedora — a nod to Indy's signature hat — which first appeared on the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District's Walt Disney World permit map in May 2026. Two permits were filed for the space at that time.

For now, guests leaving the Indiana Jones show can still pass through the exit, weaving around the planters. Depending on how construction progresses, temporary walls could eventually take their place. The spot has served various purposes over the years, from outdoor vending carts and character meet-and-greets to a merchandise kiosk truck that operated there before 2020.
