Royal Caribbean has delayed the departure of Icon of the Seas’ Sept. 26, 2026, cruise from Miami because of required maintenance. The ship is now scheduled to sail on Sunday, Sept. 27, rather than Saturday, though guests must still board on Saturday under Customs and Border Patrol guidelines.
Guests can begin using available onboard bars, lounges, entertainment and spa services after boarding Saturday. The ship’s shops and casino will remain closed while it is in port. All passengers must be onboard by 8 p.m. Saturday, and guests may go ashore in Miami until 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
The revised itinerary drops Costa Maya, Mexico, replacing that stop with a day at sea. Calls at Roatán, Honduras; Cozumel, Mexico; and Perfect Day at CocoCay are expected to remain on the seven-night itinerary.
Royal Caribbean is providing refundable onboard credit based on stateroom type: $300 for inside and oceanview rooms, $350 for balconies and $800 for suites, plus $50 for each third and fourth guest.
