Fans of Disney's 1996 animated classic The Hunchback of Notre Dame have a couple of new reasons to visit Disney Springs. Two limited 30th-anniversary items have shown up at the World of Disney store, and they lean fully into the film's medieval, Gothic personality.
The first is a Hunchback of Notre Dame Spirit Jersey priced at $79.99. The long-sleeved top comes in deep navy blue and carries a commemorative logo on the upper-left chest alongside the film's gold wordmark set against purple pointed banners. Flip it around and you'll find an oversized distressed gold wordmark across the shoulders, below which a large illustration in purple, pink, and gold depicts Quasimodo atop Notre Dame with one arm outstretched, Esmeralda looking up at him, and gargoyle companions Victor, Hugo, and Laverne woven into the cathedral scenery.
The second piece is a Quasimodo Bell Mug at $24.99. The 19-ounce stoneware mug is sculpted to resemble one of Notre Dame's massive bells, complete with a flared silhouette, an allover metallic gold finish, and raised ornamental bands at the top and bottom. One side carries the film's embossed logo; the other shows Quasimodo singing while clutching a bell rope, his portrait framed inside a quatrefoil window with a blue background.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame was released on June 21, 1996, directed by Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise. The film adapted Victor Hugo's 1831 novel into an animated musical centered on Quasimodo, a bell ringer longing for life beyond Notre Dame's walls. Both new items were spotted at the World of Disney store in Disney Springs.
