Royal Caribbean's campfire cookie at Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade has long been a fan favorite — a warm chocolate chip cookie piled with marshmallows, drizzled with Nutella, and served alongside vanilla ice cream and a glass of milk. But a writer who's dined at Hooked Seafood three separate times believes another dessert on select Royal Caribbean ships deserves equal billing.
Hooked is a New England-style specialty seafood restaurant featuring crab cakes, oysters, lobster, and mussels. It's not the obvious place to discover a standout dessert, but the restaurant's chocolate brownie — fudgy inside with a crackly top, finished with generous dollops of warm fudge and a scoop of vanilla ice cream — made such an impression that the writer and her fiancée returned to Hooked a second time in the same week aboard Icon of the Seas, largely just to order it again. They repeated the visit on a later three-night sailing on Utopia of the Seas as well.
One important caveat: unlike Playmakers, where you can order the campfire cookie on its own, Hooked requires guests to pay the specialty dining cover charge for a full multi-course meal. The restaurant is, however, included in Royal Caribbean's Unlimited Dining Package, so guests with that package won't pay an additional fee. Dietary accommodations — gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegetarian — are available upon request.
As of August 2026, Hooked Seafood is found on seven Royal Caribbean ships: Symphony of the Seas, Wonder of the Seas, Utopia of the Seas, Icon of the Seas, Star of the Seas, Legend of the Seas, and Navigator of the Seas. The restaurant first debuted on Symphony of the Seas in 2018. Reservations can be made in advance through Royal Caribbean's Cruise Planner, where pre-cruise dining deals are sometimes available.
