The Walt Disney Studios courtyard at Hollywood Studios is filling up fast with familiar faces. A fresh wave of character statues has appeared ahead of The Magic of Disney Animation's September 14 debut, giving guests even more to discover as they explore the area.
The newest arrivals span several classic and modern Disney films. Meeko, the lovable raccoon from Pocahontas, has claimed his spot — complete with a popcorn bucket — while Little Brother from Mulan poses against a brick wall nearby. Fans of Oliver & Company will want to find Dodger and Oliver settled in near a park bench with a hot dog, a nod to the film's New York street-life charm.
Rounding out the additions are Bruni, the adorable fire salamander from Frozen 2, nestled at the base of a tree, and Bolt, the super-powered pup from his self-titled film, who has joined the dalmatians already stationed near the Studio Store.
The growing collection of statues is building anticipation for the area's anchor experience, with the courtyard becoming a playful scavenger hunt of characters from across Disney's animated history. It's well worth a slow stroll through before or after the attraction opens.
