Water poured from the ceiling into a 10th-floor hallway aboard Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas during a sailing from Port Canaveral, flooding some guest cabins, according to passenger video and the cruise line.

Passenger Kendra Keller, who recorded the incident while on board, told FOX 35 Orlando that the hallway appeared as though it was “raining.” She said some rooms were heavily flooded and crew members removed wet carpet and installed replacement carpet the same day.

Royal Caribbean did not identify the plumbing or mechanical issue behind the leak, and the number of cabins affected has not been confirmed. In a statement to FOX 35, the cruise line said its team acted quickly to support affected guests, arrange alternative accommodations and provide compensation for the disruption.

The ship was scheduled to return to Port Canaveral on Thursday morning. Keller told the station she continued enjoying the sailing and praised the crew’s response to the incident.
