The Erica Sinclair-inspired miniature vanilla cream pie — a nod to a memorable moment in the final season of Stranger Things — has had its fondant decoration quietly updated to a more family-friendly version.
In Stranger Things 5, the quick-witted Erica Sinclair bakes a sedative-laced pie to help save the Turnbow family from a Demogorgon. When one family member refuses to eat it, Erica delivers a sharp line of dialogue that Universal originally honored word-for-word on the pie's fondant speech-bubble topper. That uncensored phrase has now been replaced with a version that swaps the full word for an asterisk-softened stand-in — reading "I told you to eat your d*** pie!" instead.
The change was spotted and shared by Instagram user sam.iin.wonderland, whose video drew attention to the before-and-after swap. The treat itself remains unchanged in all other respects: it's still a miniature vanilla cream pie priced at $9.
