Halloween Horror Nights 2026 at Universal Studios Hollywood has a new face to watch out for — and she's got a foam brick and a lot of feelings. Nikki, the lead character from the film Obsession, has made her official debut at the event, giving guests an unsettling up-close encounter during a team member preview ahead of opening night.

Footage shared by Instagram user @itslindseyland shows "Freaky Nikki" stationed behind a barrier on a backstage walkway, interacting with guests while covered in blood and occasionally hitting herself with a foam brick as she delivers lines from the movie. In Obsession, Nikki — played by Inde Navarrette — is placed under a spell by her friend Bear that causes her to fall violently and obsessively in love with him.

HHN creative director John Murdy announced Nikki's inclusion at Midsummer Scream, describing her as a last-minute addition driven by the film's strong performance. It's a relatively rare move for the event to add a character so close to opening, making her presence all the more notable for fans.
