Guests at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground have developed a playful golf cart tradition known as “Camp Hair Don’t Care.” The decoration is made from a bundle of pool noodles zip-tied to the top of a cart, creating the look of a colorful, messy hairstyle.
Some participants add signs or props, including sunglasses. When one party’s stay ends, the decoration is passed to another group, which places it on its own cart and continues the campground game, according to Disney Food Blog.
Golf carts are a familiar sight at the sprawling Walt Disney World campground. Fort Wilderness rents electric carts with windshields and headlights for nighttime driving; renters must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license. Disney also permits guests to bring their own carts, provided they present proof of insurance at check-in and sign an agreement and waiver.
