Florida's craft beer scene and its beloved state parks are joining forces this fall. The Florida State Parks Foundation has launched "Pints for Parks," a statewide collaboration with eight craft breweries — stretching from the Panhandle to Southwest Florida — each creating a new parks-themed beer or cider to help raise funds for the foundation's conservation and stewardship work.

The participating breweries are First Magnitude Brewing Company in Gainesville, Intracoastal Brewing Company in Melbourne, Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company in Orlando, Keel + Curley Winery in Plant City, Ology Brewing Company in Tallahassee, Riptide Brewing Company in Bonita Springs, Ten 10 Brewing Company in Orlando, and Tidal Brewing Company in Spring Hill. Each has developed a dedicated beer or label specifically for the initiative.

The campaign debuted this week and will culminate on Saturday, September 26, which is National Public Lands Day — an annual celebration first established in 1994 and recognized as the country's largest single-day volunteer event for public lands. Many Florida state parks will mark the occasion with cleanups, invasive plant removal, guided tours, and educational programs.

Florida State Parks Foundation CEO Julia Gill Woodward said the partnership is rooted in the idea that parks are central to their local communities, and that connecting with neighborhood breweries is a natural way to encourage Floridians to get outside and explore the state's natural spaces. The foundation, originally established in 1993 as Friends of Florida State Parks, supports the Florida Park Service, local Friends groups, and more than 20,000 park volunteers across the state.
