Universal CityWalk Orlando is getting a new dining option this weekend, and the grand opening comes with a celebrity twist. Fat One's Hot Dogs & Italian Ice — a chain co-owned by NSYNC member Joey Fatone and his manager Joe Mulvihill — is set to open on Saturday, September 19, 2026, with festivities beginning at 10 a.m.
Fatone himself will be on hand for the occasion, and he plans to do more than just wave from the sidelines. The singer will personally serve free hot dogs to a limited group of early arrivers. Only the first 100 guests to show up will receive a wristband entitling them to one complimentary hot dog served by Fatone himself. The restaurant is advising guests to arrive well ahead of the 10 a.m. start time, since wristbands will go on a strict first-come, first-served basis and are expected to disappear quickly.
Beyond the free food, Fatone is also scheduled to stay at the location for a limited time to take photos with guests — a bonus for NSYNC fans who happen to be visiting Universal Orlando that day.
Fat One's takes over the space previously occupied by Hot Dog Hall of Fame, keeping the hot dog theme alive under a fresh name and new ownership. The CityWalk location places the restaurant squarely between Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, giving it natural foot traffic from park guests throughout the day.
