Universal Orlando’s upcoming Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift coaster has reached a new construction milestone at Universal Studios Florida: pull testing is underway.
The attraction is being built on the former site of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and is expected to open in 2027. Universal has said the coaster will feature rotating, 360-degree drifting ride vehicles traveling at high speed along the track.
Recent aerial images show testing equipment installed atop one of the coaster’s hills, along with a test vehicle moving through sections of track. Pull testing helps crews check clearances and identify adjustments needed before regular ride testing begins.
