Epic Universe claimed the top spot in the best dark ride category for Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, the anchor attraction of the park's Dark Universe land. The awards are determined by an international poll drawing more than 500 ballots from industry insiders, with voting conducted in July. Winners spanned 22 categories; Dollywood in Tennessee led all parks with four wins, while Europa-Park in Germany took the best park crown. Franceen Gonzales, chief operating officer of Windermere-based Enchanted Parks, received the Golden Ticket leadership award.
