The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival kicks off August 27 and runs through November 21, and Disney has already started rolling out details about what guests can expect this fall. Among the highlights is a brand-new, hands-on exhibit dedicated entirely to cheese, set to open inside CommuniCore Hall on September 18 and run through November 8. The exhibit will explore the history of cheese and include interactive elements and trivia for curious visitors.
The slightly delayed opening is by design — CommuniCore Hall is currently hosting GoofyCore for Cool Kids' Summer through September 8, so the cheese exhibit is simply waiting its turn before moving in for the bulk of the festival season.
Cheese fans have another reason to celebrate beyond the exhibit: Emile's Fromage Montage is also returning. This self-guided food trail challenges guests to sample cheese-inspired dishes across select Global Marketplaces, collecting passport stamps along the way. Complete the trail and you earn a special festival treat as a reward — essentially a delicious scavenger hunt.
Disney has also teased a handful of returning menu favorites for 2026. Gyozas of the Galaxy brings back its street corn-style chicken dumplings with tomatillo salsa verde, corn salad, cotija cheese, lime crema, and cilantro. The Australia marketplace returns with its bushberry-spiced grilled shrimp skewer served with sweet-and-sour vegetables and coconut-chili sauce. And dessert lovers can look forward to The Alps marketplace's Kirschwasser torte, layered with cherry-brandy buttercream, fondant, sugared almonds, and cherry compote.
