Walt Disney Imagineering has released the sixth and seventh clues in its digital scavenger hunt surrounding a missing Society of Explorers and Adventurers artifact. The ongoing mystery, introduced after the artifact was teased at D23, appears to center on the Ridge Jewel associated with Big Thunder Mountain’s Rainbow Ridge.
The latest clues are presented as two aged, typewritten poems. Imagineering says each riddle leads to a letter in the name of the thief, though the letters must ultimately be put in the correct order. The sixth clue directs players toward Disneyland imagery involving a mountain, an alphorn, and animals, while the seventh points to a setting with birds, torches, boats, and a river.
A blueprint shared with the riddles identifies an invention called the Timeskipper. In a note attributed to S.E.A. archivist Bonnie Booker, the device is described as a time-traveling tool, shifting the investigation from how the theft occurred to when the suspect may be.
