Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party launched its 2026 run at Magic Kingdom, drawing the enthusiastic — and crowded — reception the event typically earns. The party runs on select nights from August 7th through October 31st, with tickets priced between $119 and $229 plus tax depending on the date. Meanwhile, for Halloween fans who can't make the trip in person, Disney also announced the runDisney Virtual Spooktacular — a three-race challenge completable from home throughout October, priced at $185 for all three races with four medals mailed to participants. Registration opened August 11th and sold out quickly.
On the less cheerful side, Disney's Wilderness Lodge — specifically the Boulder Creek Villas — has been dealing with an ongoing water outage that began Saturday, August 8th. As of August 14th, the issue had not been fully resolved. Cast Members confirmed they were working to relocate affected guests to other accommodations, but anyone considering booking there in the near term may want to wait until the situation is sorted out.
On a brighter note, Annual Passholders have three new Muppets-themed perks to enjoy at Disney's Hollywood Studios through September 24th.
