Visitors planning an early lunch at Walt Disney World may want to check restaurant hours before heading across a park. Disney Food Blog, citing operating times listed on Disney World’s website, noted that several restaurants begin service later than the 11 a.m. timing many guests may expect.
Most of the later openings are in EPCOT’s World Showcase, which officially opens at 11 a.m. Tutto Italia Ristorante in the Italy pavilion has the latest listed lunch start among the restaurants highlighted: 12:30 p.m. Lunch is listed from 12:30 to 3:55 p.m., followed by dinner from 4 to 9 p.m.
Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada pavilion, Biergarten Restaurant in Germany, Chefs de France in France and Nine Dragons Restaurant in China are listed as opening for lunch at noon. San Angel Inn Restaurante in the Mexico pavilion, Katsura Grill in Japan and Space 220 are listed with 11:30 a.m. starts, while Regal Eagle Smokehouse in The American Adventure opens at 11:45 a.m.
The later schedule is not limited to EPCOT. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Tiffins Restaurant is listed as beginning lunch at 11:30 a.m.
