Walt Disney World guests planning an early lunch may want to check restaurant hours before heading across a park. While eligible hotel guests can use Early Entry and many visitors arrive at rope drop, a number of dining locations do not begin service until 11:30 a.m., noon or later.
EPCOT has many of the later lunch starts. Tutto Italia Ristorante in the Italy Pavilion is currently listed to begin lunch at 12:30 p.m., while Le Cellier Steakhouse, Biergarten Restaurant, Chefs de France and Nine Dragons Restaurant are listed to begin at noon. San Angel Inn Restaurante, Katsura Grill and Space 220 Restaurant are among the locations with 11:30 a.m. starts, and Regal Eagle Smokehouse is listed for 11:45 a.m.
That distinction can matter for visitors who plan to eat around 11 a.m. before an afternoon hotel break, a dining reservation or a Lightning Lane return time. EPCOT's World Showcase offers many restaurant choices, but not all are available at the same point in the day.
Later starts are not limited to EPCOT. Tiffins Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom is currently listed to begin lunch at 11:30 a.m., and Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen at Magic Kingdom also has a first posted operating time after 11 a.m.

Some locations do not offer lunch at all. La Hacienda de San Angel at EPCOT is currently listed to open at 4 p.m.; it is separate from the earlier-opening San Angel Inn Restaurante. Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White at Disney's Wilderness Lodge begins at 4 p.m., Sebastian's Bistro at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort starts at 4:30 p.m., and California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort begins at 5 p.m.
Disney advises guests to check current hours in the My Disney Experience app, since restaurant schedules can vary by date. That is especially useful when planning Walt Disney World tickets and park days around meals, transportation and reservations.
